Agreed. Start with Pulp Fiction.

All three are solid choices, with Casino being the weakest. I really really like L.A. Confidential, if I had to watch one of these three right now that would be my pick.

it doesn't, becaue they're all excellent movies, but i'm very indecisive right now. also, i saw parts of pulp fiction on tv a little while back, so it feels like i've seen it recently (though watching a cut version makes me want to watch the real version instead)

Casino, LA Confidential, Pulp Fiction. In order from least great, to greatest.

I have all three on DVD. Casino is the only one I watch when it's also on Television. I love that flick.

Don't get me wrong. Casino is great. The other two, in my mind, are classics. Like, all-time top twenty movies on my list. Everything great about Casino is even better in Goodfellas, so there is that.

i'm not necessarily going to argue about pulp fiction, but la confidential? it was great and all, but while you're talking about other movies doing it better, there's a bunch of noir movies that preceded la confidential.

casino. even though more people voted for pulp fiction, i felt since i saw parts of it recently, and it seems more like a nighttime movie, i'd go with casino. i don't even know if that all makes sense even.

thank you for your input.

You're right, I'm being inconsistent. That being said, I'm not really well versed in old time film noir, other than the Maltese Falcon and Touch of Evil. Maybe someone can recommend some other classic film noirs for my viewing pleasure.

on something like this i think it's a good move to go with the least-voted choice
