That's right, it's time for YourFoxyGrandma's Nobody Else at School is Moved in Yet so I Think I'm Just Going To Play Alot of Poker Until My Friends Get Here Challenge. But please, from now on, refer to it by it's catchier and easier to remember name as displayed in the post title.

I guess it's pretty self-explanatory; I'm at school and none of my roommates/friends are set to show up for another few days, so, hey--poker? Seems logical. I'm thinking about giving the $109s another go since my bankroll is beefy and I don't have a second display to 8-table at the moment, making a marathon at the $55s kindof a waste.

So, I'll be 4-tabling the $109s; My plan is to play 100 tournaments over the next 3 days (8/29-8/31). As always, feel free to join in. I still have a little unpacking to do and I can't concetrate with all this clutter, so the marathon officially begins @ 7:00 PM EST and ends @ midnight of the 31st.

So, yeah; I'm pumped. See everybody at the tables.

I wont be able to start till 6pm or later tonite, but i'll give it the full effort tomorrow and wednesday: 8-tabling the 109's...my goal will be 12 hours of play and 100 tourneys (total)...ROI of 10% for $1090 profit+rakeback.

Good luck. But make sure your bankroll is beefy above and beyond your "school nut", the rent/food/tuition/books/etc that you will be buying over the next 8 months.

But yeah, knock 'em dead.

sweet, I'm done. I played 15 $109's last night for $1864+rake. Much more efficient, time wise. Now I can just be off till Vegas /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Bleh, off to a bad start. -73.8% ROI after 7 tournaments. I'm also playing pretty badly; having a hard time concentrating. Gonna take a few hours off and see how things look.

I might be joining you soon. I move into my apartment near campus on the 1st but don't start school until the 22nd of september. Send me a holla on the $109s/$215s (or $55s if I'm running horrible and need moral boosting)

Sweet...

So, I'm officially done with the challenge, boasting a most impressive -65% ROI. I went ITM 3/20 at the $109s to start things off, my only ITM finishes being 3rds and decided it would be best to drop back down to the $55s where I broke even for the duration of the challenge. I guess there's always rakeback.

Also, my CPU is currently overheating so I won't really be able to play until I figure out what's going on there. So yeah, it's been fun.

Degen, how did you make out?
