Villian is loose and slightly passive preflop. But plays somewhat reasonable postflop. He is not "good", but on the other hand not the reason I am playing at the table.

How much action will you give here?
Raise and call a 3-bet?
Just call?

What hand (or hand range) do you put villian on?

raise and call a 3-bet. It really looks like a stop and go with hand like A5. If he's got a boat so be it. I highly doubt the bigger straight, as he'd be a fool not to cap that on the turn.

I put the guy on something like 5 7, 5 9, 5 4, something like a pair and a straight draw on the flop... big turn card. I would bet and call a 3 bet on the turn and river. You're either way ahead or way behind but you're obviously not going to fold.

I'm raising and calling a 3-bet here, unconvinced that he's got more than just a 5.
