Preflop: Hero is UTG with Q/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, K/images/graemlins/diamond.gif.

BB checks, Hero checks.

Looks fine. No need for continuation bet on turn if you think he won't fold turn or brick river. I doubt your king high is good after his flop c/c so no need to bet turn for free showdown. What's his AF?

I'd still bet the turn. If he shows me a solid hand again, I'll feel fine checking the turn through next time. Him being passive does mean he'll call a lot, but it doesn't mean he has a good hand every time he does it. I don't think one hand is enough to make me check here.

I also bet the turn. You have a good semi-bluffing hand and will likely get a free showdown with a good K-high even if you dont improve.
You dont know that much about his hand yet, he just called. He can have a weaker flush draw and bluff you out of the pot. Even passive players bet the river when you check the turn through (of course not all the time but they do it).

Sometimes he ll fold the turn, sometimes he ll call and you improve and get 2 bets out of him, if you are behind you ll likely get a free showdown (he ll probably CR a Jack though). I like betting this turn.
