The last few weeks, I have been on a bad run and my confidence is way down. When I sit down at a cash game, I feel there is a much better chance of having a losing session, than a winning one. When this happens, do you take a break for a while or do you play through it? Do you make it a point to study more, read up on the game?

Yes, Yes, and Yes. Good luck.

Take a break or drop down until you feel confident again. Study some books or do something completely unrelated to poker. If you feel like you are going to have a bad session, you probably will. It can also start to rub off into other areas of your life (lack of confidence).

I just tried to come back from a break. I'm still not feeling particularly comfortable, so I'm taking another break, perhaps permenantly.
