Notes on the hand: Villain is a gigantic idiot.

I'm feeling great in this hand up until sixth street, but there's no way I'm not betting aces up with this deceptive board. He raises me (what the hell?) and I call instead of raise since my hand's only good in one direction. I think I'm beat on seventh street, but you can't make money by making tough river folds in limit poker.

Results in white below:

<font color="white"> Hero: [ 2h 4h Ad 2s Ac 4s 8h ] [ two pairs, aces and fours -- Ad,Ac,8h,4h,4s ]

Seat 3: [ 9h Td Js 8s 4d Qh 9c ] [ a straight, eight to queen -- Qh,Js,Td,9h,8s ]
</font>

I agree that you're probably beat on 6th. 7th, folding can't be too wrong, but if he truly is a idiot you've gotta pay it off. Do you figure he'd raise 6th with just two pair (queens up)?

It's painful but on 6th I don't think you have the 5:1 odds you need to continue with two pair. I pay off here regularly, but have yet to find that my opponent, stupid though he may be, was bluffing. You could have half the pot locked up, and he's raising you . . . just screams made hand.
