How much do you need to bankroll a 5 card draw game? Is it like hold em...300X the BB?

probably not, there's only two rounds of betting. It doesn't seem very swingy, either, I've not had many losing sessions where I was playing well.

If you are a winning player playing 1-2 I would say $100 is enough to withstand most downswings.

Its all about game selection. Keep that in mind.

Right, since the difference between good players and bad players is much wider in 5CD than in Hold'em, and the reduced number of betting rounds, you'll need a much smaller bankroll. I don't know if I'd go as low as 50BB, but 100BB ought to be okay.

I'll concur that 100BB sounds good, but I don't have any math to back that up. Worst losing streak ever was about 40-50BB, but as others have said losing sessions in draw are rarer than Hold'em.
