Where do I give this one up. I feel that hands where I raise preflop and miss are the ones giving me the most trouble. I can never tell what flops to bet and when to continue betting.

That being said, I think you can safely fold that river. He 3-bet you preflop, so a worse ace is unlikely, and almost every 3-betting hand either hit that board or has you beat. He looks like 99-JJ or something like that, but it could be a number of other hands too. None of them look that good for you.

Just fold river, JT got there along with a bunch of other silly hands.

What about raising the flop? You might steal the pot later in the hand or buy yourself a free card. This guy ultimately gave you a free card any way, but in general I like a flop raise here.

The guy 3-bet preflop, and the flop came KQx. You're just asking to get 3-bet on the flop if you raise there most of the time.
