I planned to check and call a small bet by villain on river... but when he bet I changed my mind. Why did he bet t375 to win t90... Was this a good push over the top or too risky?

I just saw your results. There's a few big problems with this play.

1) He could easily be making a huge overbet that looks like a bluff to extract value from you (which is probably how I would play the hand).
2) He's committed to calling your raise. He can't even fold the Qd here.

You asked why he would bet so much to win a small pot. Why are you risking your whole stack to win, now?

I think that this push is pretty bad, regardless of the results.

If you think he's bluffing (which I don't) then just call. You aren't getting a non-flush to call that push, and usually will only be called when beat.

fold>>>call>>>push

You ask a good question... which is why I posted the hand b/c I was not sure I played correctly. But... are $11 players smart enough to make 'over bets' as you described? These are some of the types of hands that get me into trouble... But I think your question is key here to be a winning player... why risk my chips for t90? Thanks
