flopping a pair of Aces with A rag in the BB in a mulitway pot?

this is a situation i've been getting myself into alot recently. how do you guys handle it? do you bet out to see if you are dominated or wait and see where the first better comes from in order to try and figure out if you are beat or something else?

Very important question: is the pot raised pre-flop or not (did you check or did you call one)? This matters greatly for determining your likelihood of domination.

Things to consider here:

1. You likely have the best hand.

2. You don't want to put in tons of bets when dominated.

3. You are not vulnerable to overcards.

Considering all these things, in many cases the best thing to do is to check and reevaluate based on future action, often raising, sometimes calling, and sometimes folding if [censored] goes crazy behind you.

I pretty much bet the flop and see what happens. This assumes a limped pot pre flop.
