$10+1 Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t30 (9 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

SB (t975)
BB (t825)
UTG (t820)
UTG+1 (t1095)
MP1 (t755)
MP2 (t580)

Preflop: Hero is CO with J/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, A/images/graemlins/diamond.gif.
1 fold, UTG+1 calls t30, 3 folds, Hero calls t30, Button calls t30, SB completes, BB checks.

Flop: (t150) 6/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 7/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 4/images/graemlins/club.gif (5 players)
SB bets t75, BB calls t75, UTG+1 raises to t150, Hero calls t150, Button calls t150, SB raises to t945 (All-In), BB folds, UTG+1 calls t795, Hero ????

With 2 people already All-In, I guess I have the odds to chase the nut flush, but is it the right thing to do?

At the moment you have 25% of your stack in the pot and 2/1 chance to double up, I think you have to call here with the nut flush draw

Yes it is the right thing to do and it's not close.

Why not raise preflop?

You have position on the limper and AJs is a strong holding enough to raise against one limper on the 10+1.

On the flop you must call.

Am I an idiot for wanting to fold this after the reraise by UTG+1 to 150?

My reasoning is that:

1. with raise and reraise, I'm not gonna make my hand for cheap and bust them for alot of money anymore.

2. If I fold I still have 830 chips to play with, far from crippled.

3. Most importantly, I wanna get to the bubble where I can outplay them.

Is my thinking terrible? BTW I completely understand and agree that going all in there is not the wrong move at all. Im just wondering about my approach.

IT's NOT CLOSE THAT YOU'RE AN AMAZING TURD.

This goddamn phrase has got to go. Especially from idiot newbies with -5 posts.

If you've got the odds (maybe plus some more, considering payout implications), you call.

Here, with a nut flush draw, and overs that should be good some of the time, I think this is a pretty clear call.

However, I would have just pushed initially. Having 9 outs to the nut flush and 4-5 outs out of overs means you can semibluff very profitably there.

I agree here. I think you need to push or fold before that t150 call. I like calling here the least of your 3 options.

I think you're against at least a set and have around 7 outs on average because there is guaranteed to be two diamonds here somewhere, but since it's an 11 and this is donkeyland I call anyway.

At a 109, I think I would fold, and to take a page from a newbie above, it would not be close.

I wouldn't raise this pre-flop usually. If you get called, you get no information about the caller's hand. If you get re-raised, you'd probably have to fold. Raising here, I think, is just building a heads-up pot you have a good chance of not winning.

I would usually limp it pre-flop and try to see a cheap board. I would probably call a small to moderate raise after I limped too, and get away quickly if it's clear I'm beat on the flop.

But then again, I suck.

OK I'll try. About 2500 in the pot and about 680 to call or thereabouts right? At almost 4 to 1 IMO the pot odds make this an easy call. If I'm wrong I'd love to hear why.

Sorry if you're tired of a phrase which may indeed be overused. Newbie or not my post at least had SOME poker related content which yours did not. I respectfully suggest that you lighten up sir.

OK I will try not to use that phrase any more, newbie as I am.

Adanthar you make a good point about there being 2 diamonds out there but I think it is far from guaranteed that you are not up against a set and an overpair.

I also think that at the 100,s you will be less likely to have a non nut flush draw being all in here.
