cheating in live games

vehn directed me over to a site that has quite a few posts about cheating. i knew cheating was a problem in the past, but what are the conditions today? are there safeguards in place and how is cheating accomplished if there is cheating still going on? do they mark the cards or are card mechanics deployed? how can we prevent cheating if it exists and other than collusion, what do we look out for?

There has been much written and said about cheating in B&M cardrooms. But basically, each of the players is also responsible to be aware of things that go on that are suspicious to help the dealers, floor and the cameras. If there is cheating going on, someone will see it, and hopefully, report it to the floor so that appropriate action can be taken. Remember, if you are a good person with people, you will be aware when someone is acting in a manner not according to how he should be.
