View Full Version : Please talk me out of making a ridiculous purchase

I have a Samsung 213t.

Dell now has the Dell 2405FPW 24" widescreen 1900x1200 resolution monitor with 12ms response time. It's like $1,050... and it looks sexy.

.... but not as sexy as two of them would look... after the sale of my 213t....

There is no way this could be the right thing to do. There's got to be something better to spend my p*ker money on. Talk me out of it.

I've read all of your advice, thought hard, considered all the possibilities and here is what I decided:

Spend 2k to buy the two monitors. Then spend another 2k on strippers and booze to celebrate my purchase.
