[/ QUOTE ] I don't like that. The rest seems pretty standard.

Agreed. I really don't think there is value in setting up for a bluff by showing a powwerful hand here. If villain laid down JJ or TT you just instilled him with confidence.

how about the reraise amount?

08-28-2005, 05:21 PM
people that suck raise small

I'd raise a bit less, to 250-275 or so. Maybe I'm quibbling but there it is. Better 360 though then something wimpy.

Being that I occassionally run into you when I'm playing the $5s, I have seen you make some akward raises and get no action out of them. If this is reflective of what you usually have when making those raises, then based on the table stats of those SNGs we were both in, you are missing A LOT of value. This might be considered a leak if this is a norm for you.

I just moved to the 11s and so far so good, see you there next hopefully.

I stand corrected in that case. I thought the OP was TheWombat.

It depends. Against many weaker players...if you reraise a larger amount (3.5-4x the original raise) they have a tendency to put you on AK and go broke with small pairs. This could still hold in a 555 - in fact, you are about as likely to get action with a raise to 270 as a raise to 360, so you might as well make the bigger raise here.

However, I really hate showing here.
