So we're eating at Denny's and 2 guys walk in with a girl. One of the guys is wearing a Michigan T-shirt, nuff said. One of my friends tells a story about his mechanic being from Michigan, but most of our comments sacrificed humor for sheer insult power. The girl starts getting pissed and yells at us to lay off because they just got married.

That's when it hits me. The next time I want to insult a Michigan fan, I'm just going to tell him about the time I met a Michigan graduate who took his new bride to Denny's with his buddy riding shotgun.

edit: By "just got married", I mean that it was still their wedding night.

Actually, I was a carpetbagger who spent only four years there during my grad school years. However, if it makes you feel any better, I took the taxpayers of Ohio for quite the tidy sum for my fellowship and tuition waivers. /images/graemlins/smirk.gif
