I'm awake every week from about 5PM Thursday to 10PM Friday. After a while it's like a drug.

I did 57 hours one time in Las Vegas. This included 3 rounds of heavy drinking. The only stimulants used were gambling and eye candy.

I finally fell asleep, involuntarily, during the early NFL games in the Mandalay Bay sportsbook

I haven't slept for ten days...because that would be too long.

I had chicken pox when I was 23. Anyone that's had them as and adult will know exactly what I am talking about here. The pox were not itchy (I wish they were), they were painful. I had a tube inserted in my throat so it wouldn't close shut on me. I was in so much pain (you can imagine where) I wasn't able to sleep for something like 85 hours. I wasn't able to be on any medication to let me sleep because of the medication I was already on from the pox. I don't know how long I was up, but I do know it was over 3 days and going into my 4th day.

44 hours. I was at an all weekend LAN party with people from around the country. About 70 of us rocked up to this scout hall with our PCs and we hooked up to a network. Actually had to call the power guy out to boost the power supply from the halls power box because there wasn't initially enough juice to power everyones PC.

Lots of drinking and computer gaming = no sleep. Was fun though.

Did a 48hr no sleep stint just out of college. My first software project in the real world. We got behind and it was release time and our customer (one of the big three American automakers) had built a ton of penalties for missing our release date into a contract with my company. Me and the rest of my team worked a full 48 hours to fix all the glitches our QC department documented. We made the release. All of us were given a full week off (comp time). It was worth it, but we were young, dumb, and full of something, and we never should have found ourselves in that situation anyway. Guess we were cocky and actually believed we'd built a bulletproof system until our QC department fired a bullet or two, then about a hundred.

About 3.5 days stuck in traffic trying to get into a phish concert in Vermont last summer. You could'nt really sleep because you had to move your car another 5 feet every fifteen minutes, when I finally got home, I slept for 19 hours and actually pissed my bed.

Besides the effects of various drugs, sleep deprivation is one of the more common causes of seizures.

Be careful folks.

sometimes its fun to stay up for a while, but you end up feeling like crap and it usually f's up your sleep patterns for a few days afterwards

I've done 30-36 hours many times. (Usually finals weeks)

Once I did ~55 hours in Atlantic City, then slept ony 4 hours on the bus back to nyc & going strait to work from the Port Authority.

That is very dangerous. Did Dr. give you medicine? If so, did it work.

62 hours, without any stimulants (not even coffee).

Went to two grat parties in a row, and worked during the day.

It was Christmas time!
