According to AF, is a check-raise less aggressive than a donk-bet?

I believe they are the same.

AF = (bet% + raise%) / call%.

"Check" actions do not affect the AF.

Except obviously you get to do it less often because sometimes you whiff so if you try to checkraise a significant amount of the time it will bring the AF down.

exactly. this is one of the many reasons why the AF isn't an accurate measure of how aggressive someone is.
