That link doesn't work. Also, I'm pretty sure the file you're after is a video stream and may be impossible to download. If perchance you get me a link to a downloadable video file, I can definitely do it for you.

You can download it. It's J. Simpson putting on a wet suit and hopping up and down in a bikini top... then it zooms in and goes to slo-mo.

When I click the link it immediately opens into Windows Media player and I can go to File, Save As. Hmmmm, how else could I host the .wmv file?

No, it's my bad. I was looking at it on a mac and for some reason it redirected me somewhere.

Anyway, here it is:

As it stands it's about half a meg which is kindof big. I can either drop the frame rate or make it shorter to reduce file size or just leave it as is, whatever you prefer.

Definitely cut out the beginning. Just go slo-mo.

That is absolultely beautiful. You are in fact my foxy grandma.

BTW - a tutorial on how you did that would be most excellent.

I did it with After Effects, a program by Adobe. It's used for professional compositing work and effects and has some animation capabilities as well; essentially Photoshop with a timeline built in to it. You can import almost any kind of video file, resize it, apply effects filters, whatever you want to do, and then export it as whatever you want--in this case a looping animated .gif image.

There's two versions of the software, the lower end version running about $700, but as always, there are other ways of getting your hands on a copy (not that I would know anything about this).

I am all too familiar with these methods, and in fact I already have the proggy, just never realized it's capabilities in this area.

much obliged.
