Why the hell aren't you raising that turn? Really weak by you IMO

Huh? Did you put him on exactly KK?

Raise the turn.

WTF?

Bet/Raise/Re-Raise Flop
Bet/Raise/Re-Raise Turn
Bet/Raise/Re-Raise River

I am definitely raising the turn. I am also capping to a reraise and depending on my read of the villian possibly just calling the river.

yes

Fold pre-flop because there aren't enough callers.

I'd 3-bet the flop.

As is, definitely raise the turn. If he 3-bets, I'd cap and then call the river if he still bets.

There are many many hands besides KK that he could reasonably have here. And if he has 66, well [censored] that.

Please raise the turn and don't stop betting for the rest of the hand.

No reason to fear 66 here.

KK, although a possibility, is a lot less likely than AK.

I haven't read the replies yet but here we go...

Fold pre-flop unless the table is extremely loose and passive.

Flop: 3 bet seems like a good option, especially if you are likely to chicken out on a raise with a turn spade or king. Which seems very likely that you would chicken out.

Turn: Cap

River: Bet if checked to, call if bet into. Bet/call a CR.

I routinely limp suited connectors second in from the CO. Of course, I also routinely raise & cap for value when I flop trips and turn a full house with them.

I shudder to think how many bets you missed here if he was holding something like A/images/graemlins/spade.gifKx, AA, or worse yet, A/images/graemlins/spade.gif Q/images/graemlins/spade.gif. And he's holding one of those hands (or something else that he'll pay off with) far more often than he's got KK or 66.

Same as what most everyone else said. I fold preflop. If you slowplay flop it should only be to get in tons of bets on the turn.

Yeah same as everyone said yada yada....

The only question that should be discussed about this hand is do we raise the flop or wait until the turn?

Since it's HU on the flop we always raise for value in situations like this? or do we call and get him on bigger streets?

I personally like 3 betting the flop, because if the turn comes something like Q /images/graemlins/spade.gif i wouldn't feel confident putting 3 bets in.

I don't see preflop raisers checkraising the flop with spades here too often, so I wouldn't be too worried about a /images/graemlins/spade.gif on the turn.

Which is why I would cap the flop. You may not get a chance to get those bets later if the /images/graemlins/spade.gif does fall and he goes into c/c.
