5/10 6 max. we're currently 4 handed and I've been here for 6 hands.

UTG limps, I make it 45 on the button with J /images/graemlins/heart.gif 8 /images/graemlins/heart.gif UTG has about 850 to start the hand and I cover.

the SB who covers calls, and the BB folds.

Flop is 9 /images/graemlins/heart.gif 6 /images/graemlins/heart.gif 5 /images/graemlins/spade.gif

SB checks, UTG leads for $125. I shove.

does flatcalling the flop have any merit?

Because your straight draw is not disguised when it hits, and the flush draw is always pretty obvious I would say no to flat calling. Alot of the time here UTG will have a big pair he will fold (10-10 to QQ, even 88, or 77).

well stated. I dunno, I probably shouldn't have posted it given it seems like a slam dunk. if we were say 50BB deeper though?
