I consider this hand 'tricky' because its right on the 'push fold' border stackwise, but I _crave_ action with KK (right).
So, I make a raise for _exactly_ 40% of my chips, again right on my borderline. I would be happy to take the blinds, or call an all in reraise, but surprise, surprise, I GET A CALLER.
PartyPoker - NL Texas Hold'em $10 Buy-in + $1 Entry Fee Tournament | Level: 3 - 6 players
Chip Counts:
Hero: 700 Chips
SB: 1390 Chips
BB: 285 Chips
UTG: 3045 Chips
UTG+1: 460 Chips
CO: 2120 Chips
Hero is Button with Kh Kd
Blinds are 25/50
PreFlop
UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, CO folds, Hero RAISES ($200)
SB Calls, BB folds
(2 players) FLOP: Ks As Ts ( Pot Size: 450 Chips )
SB checks, Hero is All-In
SB Calls
(2 players) TURN: Js ( Pot Size: 1450 Chips )
(2 players) RIVER: 8c ( Pot Size: 1450 Chips )
Final Pot:1450 Chips
My thinking was this: Trip K and monotone board. I just cant check fold and any bet is half my stack, so push. Since the AK of spades is already out there, it's VERY unlikely that my opponent called my big raise with a flush draw hand. IE he probably has a good ace or a smaller pair. If he has a flush draw as well, I WANT HIM OUT OF THERE.
