You ever play the video game on NES? Playing it on a friend's old system last night, and remembered that I could never beat the game.
I can get from the road to the boat, and from there, I usually crash and the game is over.
Anyone ever beaten this game? If so, explain all the great details.

I played this game on an emulator.
On an emulator you can "save state". This way you can always reload that state if you die.
I had all sorts of games on the NES emulator that I owned as a kid. All of the games were identical.
I too had never beaten spy hunter. Once I got the spy hunter ROM I played for a long long time (always using the save state) to prevent myself from dieing. After a while I noticed that the levels repeat. For Instance the boat part and the bridge part eventually do repeat themselve. I don't think you can "beat" this game as it has a never ending loop.

I think this is true, and was true for a lot of the old games.

I think I had Spy Hunter for Colecovision. Good times. Remember this joystick?
