SB ($128.67)
BB ($169.02)
UTG ($240.82)
Hero ($438.50)
Button ($185.66)

Preflop: Hero is MP with 9/images/graemlins/club.gif, Q/images/graemlins/club.gif. SB posts a blind of $0.50.
UTG calls $1, Hero calls $1, 1 fold, SB (poster) raises to $1.5, BB calls $1, UTG calls $1, Hero calls $1.

Flop: ($8) 9/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 6/images/graemlins/heart.gif, Q/images/graemlins/heart.gif (4 players)
SB bets $2, BB folds, UTG calls $2, Hero calls $2.

I think i'm ahead here but i want to wait for a safe turn card to raise.

Turn: ($14) K/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (3 players)
SB bets $4, UTG folds, Hero raises to $13, SB calls $9.

got my safe card, but he called my raise. Not sure where I am now.

River: ($40) Q/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (2 players)
SB bets $75, Hero calls $75.

Eureka....lightning in a bottle but now i'm facing a large overbet....the board just paired, i'm wondering if this guy has QK here....do you guys call this or raise? Folding is out of the question IMO, but then again I could be wrong on that.

Final Pot: $190

Villain in this hand is reasonable...around 20/2 average agression.

raise the flop dude your hand can take some heat and you are in position so I'd rather try to build pot/charge draws on flop.

river I think is horrible...too many worse hands will call your push..

Reraising the flop is standard, but a call isnt bad. Gotta mix thigs up. MOst of the time you SHOULD raise though. That being said PUSH this river.

I'm rusty, but I'd probably push here 99% of the time. KK and KQ have you. I wouldn't even think about it, but then again, I tend to be too aggressive.

I guess what it comes down to actually, is will I be called by a lesser hand? Flush, maybe. Lower boat, probably.

Calling looks better and better to me here as time goes by.

EDIT: Just saw stack sizes. Push it.

I bet $6 on that flop... I'd call a min raise but not an allin on the flop...

I push the river... there's one possible hand he has here that beats you (he doesn't have KK). He could be slowplaying his flush, and longterm you will get paid off more times if you push.

I push the river, and I dont raise the turn.

I think your turn raise is too small. You are betting an additional $9 into a $22 pot. I'd make it at least $20. Nice river, I'd definitely stick the rest in.

SB only has a little over $35 left after his river bet. Put him in, pay off KQ and chalk it up to bad luck. If he is as bad as lots of 100 NLers he could easily have Axh slowplayed to the river,or a timid set waiting for the board to pair. Even if you got burned this time, pushing is way +EV IMHO.

this guy wasn't bad enough to push that river on a paired board with just a flush. I talked myself into a call here with my full house. He had 66 for the flopped set and rivered full house, but my FH was higher. Pushing was right I guess, but I knew this guy wasn't betting that on the river without a full house. I suck out goot.
