I don't like the flop lead in hand 1. Since you did it, I'd C/R the turn. LAG's are 3betting pocket 8's here &amp; since you don't have a read you should play your A stronger IMO.

2 is a terrible, terrible fold given your read

hand 1 I like up to river, I probably lead river, fold to a raise. If you check river, nearly all better hands will bet and worse hands will check. A river bet gets the pocket pairs that were planning on taking the freeshowdown to pay one bet on the river. c/r flop is another possible line
