Assuming he can't buy in for that amount, I'll speculate that he won a few showdowns.

Look at hand histories. Work backwards. Post results of research.

right now there are over 350 observers watching this guy sit on two tables by himself. you would think people would try to develop their own style of play rather than watch this guy for hours. The dude can sling some cards, but he's no Ivey. Why not study the game, study books, study opponents, rather than fixate your hours watching this guy play at blinding speeds?

i doubt people watch this to learn; what can they possibly learn? i glance back and forth at it during boring AIM conversations and Elimidate. combined, it's a great combo.

rolling your eyes at eager, curious, perhaps slightly green posters because you've seen everything in poker and are too cool for school is some form of currency on 2+2.

Amusingly he took at least 20K off of Ivey (who obviously wasn't playing v. well) on Full Tilt last night.

(things may have evened out later, my capacity to watch online poker is very low)

every now and then I open up one of these tables to watch, and then remember I'd rather gouge my eyes out than watch people play online poker.

do you gouge your eyes out every now and then and remind yourself that it's better than watching online poker?

Yeah, Ivey dropping 20K is a sign of bad play. Have you never dropped 2 buy-in's with quality play? H*ll, I've dropped over 3 buy-in's in 3 hours getting my money in with the best of it all three times. This doesn't mean "bad play".

Sorry I'm just being picky. /images/graemlins/smirk.gif
