i would just call the additional t175. check/pushing any A or K. it sounds like you'd get the call with a push PF. i wouldn't vote for a race at this stage of the game.

Ps. UTG's raise looks a bit purposeful (vs. a straight 3x, 4x). have you noticed this similar "odd" amount previously? any reason to be suspicious?

I didn't look too much into it. He had been varying his betting amounts from 2.5 to 4 times the bb.

that's cool. if it was a little out of character, it can make you wonder......"conserving chips on a hand he's quite willing to dump to a push?" - or - "a monster looking for a little action - being a bit smallish raise coming from UTG?".

Yup, this is a clear push for me too. A bunch of FE, a nice chunk of dead money, and a very small chance you're in trouble. I hate calling as it puts in almost 1/5 of your stack and you only get to see 3 cards. Obviously no FE either.

I hear you guys mention bunch of FE. What how much FE do we really have? If we could quantify it, I think the result would be that pushing is marginally +EV. I don't see how often an utg raiser will fold to a push in this spot. I see getting called by 77+ and AQ.

That calling range sounds reasonable, but I bet he's raising a lot more than that. It's 6-handed so UTG isn't the distinction it sometimes is. I'm always surprised how many folds I get in places like this. This hand taught me how FE shows up in the funniest places:
