Do you 3-bet this on the flop or check raise the turn?

I'd call and try to bet/3-bet the turn.

I think MP3 is more likely to call a 3-bet (and possibly cap) on the flop after putting 2 bets in than a bet on the turn... so I 3-bet and then lead the turn (even if I end up calling a cap)

i'd 3 bet. they aren't going anywhere on this flop so get your $ while you're ahead.

I'll guess you raised preflop.

If you're ahead of the BB and he raises your turn donkbet, it's way more fun to get MP3 to call 2BB on his draw, and then possibly 3. If you cap the flop, BB will slow down on the turn if he's behind and then MP3 can avoid cold-calling again on the turn.

3-bet, bet the turn.

How would you feel if the turn went check, check, check?

The time for the stop-and-go/3-bet is heads up, not here.

First, raise PF. You've got position and a solid hand.

Second, 3-bet that flop. Its draw-heavy with those suits and that QJ just sitting there. Kill the other players' odds AND get value from what is likely the best hand.

Position? In the SB? None for me thanks.

OP I'd 3 bet the flop and lead the turn.

I'll guess he called and would rather "keep us guessing" than be called weak. Also, there's no additional action from MP3 after the mystery bet. /images/graemlins/smirk.gif

I'd definitely have 3bet the flop. There are likely flush and straight draws out there, you want to make them pay to stay in.
