How often are people calling your turn push with AJ, AT? I'm guessing not that often. The backdoor draw doesn't really intimidate me, and I'm thinking that if you're ahead your opponent is drawing to three outs (occasionally five, but I don't think that happens very often). So I don't get the turn push here, unless people are still sufficiently donkish that dominated aces and the occasional K will call. The rest of the hand I'm fine with. EDIT: And yes, I'm ignoring metagame issues that suggest that since WAWB is probably the standard way to play AQ here in your shoes, he might call with less because he reads you for something different, but I don't think that's a very big factor unless you know this guy really well. Again, I don't know how you guys do things in the 215s.

Well you are playing against him, I assume that you have a read......my standard line would be to play it the same way you did since you are oop and i like to be aggressive when i am in that situation, but, i could easily see someone play aa or kk this way, and if i think this is the case, i needa read on the player, and will usually check and call based on his bet sizes.

When you're talking about the two postflop styles I am assuming that you're referring to your approach opposed to a hand I think raptor posted recently talking about check calling the flop check folding the turn with tpgk.

If thats the case I think I like your more aggressive angle on it but I question the turn push a little. Why bet so much? It seems like his draws have to be pretty slim here unless his Ax was diamonds. I do think you're ahead as anything that had you beat wouldn't come out potting that flop.

Then again I basically took off the last month so I'm a little out of it.

I don't see him playing AA or KK that fast on that flop too often.

In general I mean, I don't know the dude in question.

Funny this is probably about how I'd play it.

Well I dunno, I really thought the call down for value camp would come out after this one, oh well.

seems pretty normal to me, limping AQo isnt that unorthdox. your flop raise certainly makes sense. his turn push makes no sense, so im calling that too.
