View Full Version : Could this have been played any better?

Gotta love these hands. I don't have super strong reads, but from what I do have SB is fishy and BB is tight/passive.

PokerStars 0.25/0.50 Hold'em (10 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

Preflop: Hero is CO with Q/images/graemlins/heart.gif, Q/images/graemlins/diamond.gif.
<font color="#666666">5 folds</font>, MP3 calls, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, SB calls, <font color="#CC3333">BB 3-bets</font>, MP3 calls, <font color="#CC3333">Hero caps</font>, SB calls, BB calls, MP3 calls.

I can't be sure of much here, but I limit BB's 3-bet OOP hand range to probably AK or JJ-AA.

Flop: (16 SB) T/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 2/images/graemlins/club.gif, 7/images/graemlins/spade.gif <font color="#0000FF">(4 players)</font>
SB checks, <font color="#CC3333">BB bets</font>, MP3 calls, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">SB 3-bets</font>, BB calls, MP3 folds, <font color="#CC3333">Hero caps</font>, SB calls, BB calls.

I can't exactly put SB on an overpair unless he slowplayed preflop, but the check-raise threw me off here. It's likely he's raising a straight draw or possibly TPGK. BB doesn't cap the 3-bet here, which looks like a possible AK/AQ that missed its flop, but I don't know.

Turn: (14.50 BB) J/images/graemlins/heart.gif <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets</font>, BB calls, Hero calls.

Here I just fear that a straight has been made, or possibly just a straight draw.

River: (17.50 BB) 7/images/graemlins/heart.gif <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets</font>, BB calls, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 20.50 BB

How was my play?
