After dropping $200 at 2/4 last night on a bankroll that was well short of 2/4, I have dropped clear to .25/.50. I could easily deposit the rest of the $1,000 I had earmarked as my poker bankroll, but this is a matter of pride at this point. I will not be depositing any more money, I'm going to punish myself and rebuild it from scratch. 600BB per limit, starting at .25/.50. Humbling, yes, but then we all need it sometimes.
This is how I play overcards. Opponent is a complete unknown but I tagged him as a nit for posting UTG+1.

Turn: (3.50 BB) 5/images/graemlins/heart.gif (2 players)

River: (5.50 BB) 2/images/graemlins/club.gif (2 players)
Hero bets, UTG+1 calls.
Final Pot: 7.50 BB
I feel this board is relatively safe and that I'd hear from a better hand most of the time, at which point I'd release my KQo and move on. Does anyone slowdown on the river? If we check, call the bet? Instead of the flop action specifically or the river, I'm looking for anything anyone would do different. This is my standard line with overcards on a particularly safe board. Comments or concerns?
