i'd say little, since you didn't raise preflop. but maybe more than 9% of the time they both fold. especially if you have a really tight image and haven't shown down losers.

and i think you should have raised preflop.

Ok, thanx. FWiW, hero checks, and the BB took the pot with 73s. It's always frustrating for me to flop and oesfd and not complete it.

I agree HU it's much more likely to work but against 2, does it really work the 10:1 or so against these two?

If I knew the other player (not BB) was loose/passive calling station also I'm less inclinded to make this bet.

Well at least you know the river bet was unlikely to work.

BTW BB really shut down to your raise, surprised he didn't bet the river when the flush/straight draws busted.

he had 73 on a 738AA board. a flopped pair of 8s or 7s (with a 9+ kicker) beats him.

anyway i wouldn't have bet the turn.

I don't think you have any fold equity.

edit

This is from the guy who has completly give up trying to get people to fold better hands.

You should check the turn.

Right didn't see the river A counterfit, that makes his play make more sense.

I think you definitely have more than zero FE, but I doubt you have enough. I think it's closer than others are suggesting, however. You only need to get both to fold about 9% of the time to make betting +EV, since there's no way you have the best hand. Given that you have 2 opponents, 9% is close.

Why'd you bet the turN?

To make money. With 15 outs to the nuts, betting the turn is for value.

Turn bets for value never work.
