View Full Version : TT Middle Position... fold?

08-25-2005, 11:45 AM
Villain is loose/aggressive. He is known to bet/raise hands like A2o to the river UI. He came out swinging... should I have bet differently post flop?

I like every street. Given your description of the opponent, folding is not allowed. This is a showdown hand.

Folding an a board of all undercards? Never.

I like every street.
FWIW, the nine pairing on the turn is a board that I see alot of aggressive raisers betting to steal pots.

I'm capping the flop against this guy.

This is not solid universal advice, there are often boards with action like this where there is no hand you possibly beat.

In this one however, folding would be very very bad. I'd cap the flop. (Unless he was likely to fold when shown alot of strength.)

It actually paired on the river but doesn't change hero's actions here.

Too bad the straight didn't come in villian would have happily capped the river with us.

given your read on villain I cap the flop. also, the turn is a great card for you - you have an oesd and a flush draw that is likely good. definitely raise here!

Thanks all for the advice! I thought I played the hand "properly", I guess this one was one of those times he had me beat.

Outcome:

Villain KK

I'll get him next time /images/graemlins/smile.gif
