What's you favorite beer? Mine is Fransizkaner Weissbeer, a delicious German import.....

I wonder if this has ever been asked?

Budweiser is the choice for anyone under 23. If you arent tryin to get trashed go with Kalik.

When I pass that age maybe I'll find one better.

If like Dogfish Head, don't even bother with Fat Tire. Instead, try Avery Reverend or some Unibroe.

It'd be difficult for me to pick a favorite. However, one I like which some of you may not have tried: Stone's Old Guardian Barleywine. (http://www.stonebrew.com/timeline/2004/og2004/)

It's not for the faint of heart. If you're looking for Budweiser, this will probably not be a favorite. It also may be difficult to track down - it's not always available where I live, and that's in a city of 4 million people only 100 miles from the brewery. But it's good. Thick, sweet, nicely hoppy, and 20 proof.

Well, Last time (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showflat.php?Cat=&Number=3118097&page=&view=&sb=5& o=&fpart=1&vc=1) (14 days ago), the question was "Best beer you ever had".

I suppose an argument can be made that your favorite beer dosen't have to be the best you ever had /images/graemlins/confused.gif /images/graemlins/confused.gif

But nevertheless I stick with http://www.bottledbeer.co.uk/photos/westvleteren12.jpg

Btw: I had my 1.000th different beer in two years last week. I drink g00t!1!

My favorite of all time is called La Trappe.

It comes in varying degrees of alcohol content. I prefer the "dubbel" but it comes up to Quadrupel.

An excellent beer, in my opinion.

Nicely done.

Attending beer festivals helps a lot as you only get samples of maybe 10 or 20 cl's.

At the last festival in May in Copenhagen, I managed 53 different beers in two days. And I wasn't drunk.

In five days I'm leaving for the annual beer festival at Grand Place in Brussels. Yummi!

Ask your local beer guy if he can get his hands on some Schneider Weisse. I lived just north of Munich for a bit, so I had ample opportunity to try tons of Bavarian weizens, and that was my favorite. Franziskaner is much more widely distributed, and its good too, but not as good as Schneider Weisse.

I prefer Harvey's Nut Brown ale.

Not the best in the world but its pretty damn delicous. Very drinkable. Proper pub ale for getting cosy with on a rainy winter night.

What was that stuff in a red bottle that someone posted a few days ago ? I don't think it was beer but some kind of vodka mixed drink in a bottle ? Someone posted a picture of it.

I'm hoping I can get through both my kegs in enough time to be able to get the Sierra Celebration and the Sam Octoberfest on tap, if they're available. That would be a nice setup. I'm an especially big fan of the Sierra Celebration.

Guiness rocks, but in terms of just day-to-day or getting trashed favourites I would have to go with Moosehead and Cold Shots.

Molson Kick should also be somewhere on my list. The taste is meh, but drinking a 6-pack of these to start the night off his quite fun. 6% + caffeine.
