I dont see how you couldnt push this. You are on the good side of a coin flip to an under pair, and the only caller with a somewhat "large" range is the bubble, which doesnt have money in the pot yet. The two in the blinds have to have a hand to call here, so I say push. Unless they are agressive of course.

No fold and get 1/2 of your stack eaten up by the blinds. Thats better poker.

Did you leave out some folds? You're in the CO, right? I hate theese hand histories that haven't been through the converter.

If this hand gives you headaches, you don't wanna see some of the stuff I'd be pushing here.

Baby, it'd blow your mind.

Ya know, I think I'm starting to realize why citanul hates you.

Anyone else feeling a little more friendly?

Don't know about cev, but ICM says it is +5% $ev to push. If the remaining players' calling standards get looser it actually goes up a little. This is beyond a no-brainer.

Would you be so kind as to show your work, or just explain the steps to calculating this? I've basically just played tourneys by instinct so far, but I'd like to get more into the thought behind the actions. Thanks!

Sure thing. As far as the work goes, the hardest part is setting up a Paypal or Neteller account:

I guess you do have to punch in some numbers too if you don't have the hand history file...

oooooooooooooooh, this is the almighty SNGPT that i have heard so much about. it does all of these calculations automatically? wow.

I tried doing the calculations again (by hand, mind you), and in a "worst case scenario" (only called by hands dominating you), you still have nearly a 3% $EV.

POOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH.
