Well, river is interesting at least. Any reason to raise the river?

Because you have the winning hand?

Why just call here? Raise. The turn check would not make me put him on a full house, and you really can't assume a higher flush.

But I couldn't think of many hands that he could have that pay off a raise. Well, it just seemed extremely likely that he had a monster or was pure bluffing at the time.

I can assure you he didn't have a monster /images/graemlins/grin.gif

I'm gonna disagree with the respondents so far here. There's no way you can raise this. Him having just a queen looks pretty unlikely on the play so far, why wouldn't he just bet the flop? His play to date indicates one of the following:

- A pure bluff (e.g. JTo)
- A monster (e.g. 55)
- Possibly KJcc, KTcc or JTcc.

In the event he does have a Q with a bad kicker, given his tight/passive play so far, I don't see him stacking off with it.

"Because you have the best hand", which the first respondent gave as a reason to raise the river, is never a reason to raise the river. The only reasons are "because you can make better hands fold" and "because he may call with a worse hand". Both are highly unlikely here.

EDIT: He may also have rivered an ace. In that case he isn't calling a raise.
