I hate to admit it, but I just busted my bankroll. But you know what, I don't think it is so bad.

Phil Gordon wrote that we will all go broke at one time or another, it is like a rite of passage of sorts.

It is so true. Not only do I see all my leaks in gaming, but in life also. I feel that I could continue on fearlessly now, because this situation doesn't scare me any more.

S. W. Erdnase wrote that a professional gambler has no sense of the worth of a dollar, and he finds out sooner or later that the laws of probability are as immutable as the laws of nature.

But that is only perception, we know the value of money, we simply don't obsess over it as much as Martha Stewart. We see money as a tool to continue to make more money and work, not the other way around, and that has to be the truest meaning of capitalism there is.

Not if you play within your limits you won't. I could see a tournament player maybe going broke, but a good ring game player playing within his bankroll won't.
