this is really standard? i like to push just as much as the next guy, but for some reason i'm not comfortable with it. guess it would depend on table image. by the time there are only 4 players left, i've been pushing like crazy already ( i play super turbo's - blinds increase every 2.5 minutes) so i don't know if i could push into all three opponents with K7s. but i think it mostly boils down to the image you've projected thusfar.

I figured I had the best hand and there's no way I'm just limping.

of course limping is the last thing you want to do. like i said before it depends on the image you've projected so far. if you've been pushing on a regular basis thus far you might get called with any ace. at least that's my experience. if you were button or sb i agree with a push regardless of image.

I expect any hand that is better than K7 to call me except for perhaps K8 & K9 although they probably should. Did you notice how big the blinds are?

they're 100/200 right?

K7 is about top 35%, with 3 players behind, they together 1-85%^3=40% chance that one of them has top 15% hand (A7+/44+/KQ+), and 1-65%^3=73% chance that one of them has better hands than yours.

if they call you with top 15% hand, close call (1200 vs 60%*1500+40%*30%*2400=1188).

My bad. /images/graemlins/confused.gif I thought they were higher. You're right. I guess I didn't absolutely have to push here. I could have mini raised or 3x it.

Well, no, you can't. Raising a third of your stack or more sux.

Please push/fold this, and I think folding this can be ok.

if they were 200/400 like it kind of looks at the top, i think a push with K7s is fine here utg.
