Anyone else loathe Cardplayer? (rant)

They bring so much to the poker world, and yet, I can't stand the overall conceit of the publication. It has always presented itself as a sort of People magazine for poker. Some of the information is great, but I just get sick every time they lionize another pro. Really, who cares? Why do they have such a hard-on for established players and their continued success?

The other thing that really makes me barf is that they refure to acknowledge that the line between "pro" and "amateur" is pretty fluid. Good players fade and unknowns come up all the time. And there are thousands of great players that you and I or the people at Cardplayer will never hear of.

Anyway, this is a bit of a rant, but I felt I had to get it off my chest.

Also, I gotta say that the Schulmans sorta creep me out.
