In a NY Times stories (http://www.nytimes.com/2003/04/07/international/worldspecial/07CND-MILI.html?th) , at one of Sadaam's palaces Syrians were found in the refrigerator.

Any thoughts to what they were doing there?

Maybe they couldn't stand the heat in the kitchen.
