Texas Cardrooms???

Anyone know if there are any card rooms in the houston area? Is it legal in TX? I will be down there on business and wanted to squeeze in some hold'em!

There is no legal poker in Texas. The nearest room to Houston is east on I-10 in Lake Charles or Kinder Louisiana.

I live in Houston, so if you know of any low limit side games that aren't too vicious, let me know.

No it's not legal, but there are plenty of underground rooms in Houston, but you have to know someone to get in, just go to a couple local bars and ask around, someone should be able to point you in the right direction. If you go to Dallas, I might be able to help you out there.

I use to live in Dallas, and may move back TX to go to film school in Austin. I still have family in Dallas I'd love to find out about any low-limit hold'em games.
