Are you guys using these programs while you play, or aftwerards for game analysis? It seems too hard to type in the hands for equity/etc. while playing.

P.S. I did a search.
P.S.S. I read the FAQ.
P.S.S.S. I don't suck.
P.S.S.S.S. I don't want to post in the Beginner's Forum.

Well, ICM isn't a program, it's more of a way of modeling tournament chip values. If you're referring to calculating ICM with SNGPT, it's specifically designed to be too cumbersome for to use while you're playing so that it stays on the site's good side. You'll learn more analyzing afterwards anyway .

i just got a PM from another poster about this as well, weird.

i use nothing while playing, sometimes i'll whip up a pokerstove or something or even sngpt when i have the urge, but usually not. i hear good things about poker office, but i don't use it.

i stupidly use mozilla and AIM while playing, but that's usually it.

Sometimes I use SNGPT while playing, but only after a push I'm not sure about. I use tournament view, which eliminates the need to type everything in.
