does 2 live low beat any non live low, if there are more then 3 low cards on board? Example:
me: 5,6,7,8 (BB, so don't tell me what a bad hand it is, i know)
opp: A,2,4,Q
board: 4,7,8,2,A

I thought because i have a 2 card live low (5,6), and he has no live low cards i should scoop. But, on fulltilt, it was a split pot. Is there software wrong, or is this how it really goes? thx

he wins low with 8742A. He makes the lowest hand he can using two of his cards and 3 on the board.

Ack, sorry, I was looking at opp as the board.

Even though Hero makes 6542A for low? Interesting.

If I am reading everything correctly I think you should have won the low.

You have: 6542A
He has: 8742A

You sure that you have the hand correct? And BTW 5678 is a horrible hand /images/graemlins/wink.gif

Not always but it should in the hand you posted. And example where it doesn’t: A2345 board where you hold 67KQ and your opponent holds A234 your 2 "live" low would lose (he has 5432A and you have 7632A).

You should scoop here with the straight and a low of A2456. Opp has A2478 for a low. Sure opp didn't have a flush?
