I managed to convince a drunken schneids to play me, waited an hour for him to finish glowing from the girl that made this the greatest night of his summer, then got him to a table and lost 13 straight hands making one pair in the process and getting bluffed out of one pretty nice sized pot

Sorry I have not done anything about this earlier in the week. I only have my parents' computer to work on at the moment and it's hard to get any time on it. If there is still confusion about who plays who for these teams then please do this and I will give some extra time to complete matches.

Okay, so there's been a bit of chaos in the HUlA world lately and I've been sort of useless because I am at home using my parents' computer which isn't too easy to get to myself.

Let's start off by getting standings out of the way:

Schneids beat sthief in their much awaited match. Tosh and mperich both won week 4 matches by forfeit, but bugstud has agreed that they should play if they can so if the players agree to play the matches by the end of the regular season the standings will be updated to reflect that.

If captains do not post matchups by Friday at midnight eastern time everyone on that team will play their draft counterparts.

Week 6 starts tomorrow and the playoffs are scheduled to begin one week after that. However, it seems as though very few week 5 matches have been played so far. I have decided to postpone week 6 one extra week so that we can extend week 5 to tie up loose ends. I don't think anyone would enjoy having half of the matches in week 5 decided by forfeit and neither would I. So week 5 will extend until September 6, week 6 will begin on September 7 and the playoffs will begin on Spetember 14. I'll repeat this....

WEEK 5 WILL BE EXTENDED ONE EXTRA WEEK AND ALL HULA SCHEDULING WILL BE MOVED BACK ONE WEEK AFTER THAT. WEEK 6 DOES NOT BEGIN TOMORROW, IT BEGINS ON THE 6TH.

I somehow lost to King Yao after over an hour. Wow.

It took an hour and thirteen minutes.
For the first 40 minutes or so, it went back and forth. Then wheelz took a lead with Yao going down to 10 bb. But Yao got a couple of lucky breaks and fights back to even. Signature hand, Yao hits sets with 44 on three different occassions, all went to the River.

I defeated daneania in around 40 mins. He strted out up a few big bets, but i went on a hot run of cards right after a few turn and river bluffs that worked- and he ended up calling down when i had something most of the time. A couple of flushes and straights didn't hurt either. He spent most of the match fight from 5-15 big bets, and even though he folded preflop when i had KK, AKs and AK he couldn't stop the onslaught of cards.

Well, I really wanted this one.....but that didn't seem to matter much. GoT takes me down after 35minutes. We were neck and neck for the first 25 min or so and then we had a pivital hand. I semibluff cr'd the flop with a little flush draw and he 3bet me. I'crd the turn when my flush came in, and he 3bet me again....hmm. So I capped and led the river, but he raises me....so I call and get shown the nuts. OOps.

And den it seems like I tried to continue to on. I'd get some good starting hands and he'd beat me with cheezy 2nd pais and what not. My late match A and K call downs were not successful.

Guy was tough. AND I'll give him props for pulling a "Sexy" early in the match that PokerBob would have been proud of.
