I can't believe I forgot my anniversary..

especially since I got married on Christmas eve. Seems like there's nothing I can say to my wife. She's taken it pretty well but I fell horrible.

Jewelery you can't afford might help. That's my secret to gift shopping for the wife. Don't get her a flyrod at this point or you are really in trouble.

tell her that you will finish your half painted house next year:)

or you will only fish 300 days next year

or she can come along and net your fish for you


what woman could want more than this?


besides as long as you have been married, you should be trying to forget the date.


if all that fails tell her it was my fault and let her blame me.

You didn't forget! It's her job to remind you, she is the one who should be apologizing. Make sure she realizes this and it shouldn't happen again.


Or do what the guys in Chicago do, let her sit behind you while you play cards. Make sure you lose and make it a big lose. So she knows you are willing to go to great expense to show her a good time.
