UTG and UTG+1 are both very fishy, 50%+ VP$IP, UTG1 has paid me off twice already calling down with nothing

Do I have the implied odds to chase a set here?

Are the blinds loose? This is a reasonable call.

do you think at least 1 of the blinds will come along? usually they do, so i typically call here.

edit: if wookie would type long replies, i might beat him in /images/graemlins/smirk.gif

i think so. but you could take down the pot UI as well, if the flop comes sans A,K. I think 66 here is a better call than 22.

Call and it's not close IMO.

I think it's close against real players, but fish will pay off like crazy if you hit a set.

It's not close. Call that shizzle.

hmm I think I may have discovered a leak here, I've been so indocrinated by the "cold calling is bad" that I've been folding these sort of hands quite a bit!

The oft-quoted magic number of players pf to play a mid PP is 5 - in this case, that would require only one blind to tag along.

Also in hero's favor here is that he's got position on the 3 people already in the pot, and given the read of two poor players in front, he likely has them beat already.

if you think at least one blind is coming along, this is an easy call.

Call unless the blinds are unusually tight.

Crap, I really think I've been missing out on a lot of value by just chucking these away...

I didn't know how easy a call this one was, so thanks guys, I'm gonna run some numbers and make sure.

Easy call. Decent odds, great relative position. We love it when the blinds call too (especially since they'll often turn into dead money after we raise the flop), but we shouldn't worry too much about them folding here.
