I am relatively new to playing poker(under a years experince) and i have what i think is a simple question.

I play at .25/.50 limit tables and it seems that it is pretty hard to make any type of play work. At this level of stakes is it just best to make value bets with good hands and then let them go if you dont hit a flop (or if the flop is not good for you). It seems like AA, KK, or even big suited cards have a hard time winning when there are 4, 5, and 6 people seeing the flop and calling down any bet.
(mind you, my bankroll is small but growing)

You're right. You said you had a question?

The second part may be a little over simplified, but otherwise that sounds like a pretty solid strategy at most stakes. Winning poker isn't about making great plays. It's about relentless value betting and folding when you aren't getting the right price to draw.
