So i was looking for some posters to put up on my wall

Gloss - A surface shininess or luster. A superficially or deceptively attractive appearance

Semi Gloss - (See Above) and think halfway between Gloss-Matte

Matte - having a finish lacking in shine and luster.


However, sometimes photos and posters especially B&W ones, can look better in a Matte finish. IMO

U may though for poster-size pics, want to choose Semi-Gloss...

Glossy will look the best IMO since the red/skintones should appear brighter, but depending on the angle and lighting, you may need semi- or matte. If you could frame it behind glass w/o reflection from your standard viewing angle, go glossy; if not, semi or matte depending on how bad the lighting is. (My personal preference is matte for B/W and portraits and glossy for color, but this is not a standard portrait.)

My cafeteria SUCKS, but my RA seems chill and there are a couple of hot girls on my floor so hopefully things go good, if you know what I mean.

i noticed, i just chose to ignore it, but since you make a point of it, I dont see what the big deal is that I wanted to put a poster or two up in my room to add some color to it. You're just too cool for me, I don't know how I'll ever learn to be as great as you.
