Villain has been fairly quiet.
My image isn't great.
Button is happily blinding himself off.

Mmmmmmmmm chips!!

Let it rip! (I'm folding just about every hand under the sun to you here - but then again, I'm a softie)

But.... /images/graemlins/confused.gif

...frickin minraise (dude is "raising" off a pretty hefty chunk of his chips. AA, clever, or dumb-a). I think YOU should...but I might just chill, go on an abusive tear in, oh......about 2-3 hands.

Helpful huh?

(OT sidebar: hockey player eh? me too)

if it is a level later, i push. if he is weaktight, i push. if he is tight aggressive and tricky, i insta fold.

i am not sure about the 100s, but on >50s .. stop and go is much better than push.

I'm a little overly fond of the resteal, and I'm still pretty sure I fold here. If UTG has been quiet and is now minraising for ~30% of his stack, I think my FE is pretty low.

yeah i mean ALOT of dead money in the pot but also your hand is cool and is not likely dominated, even if u lose you still rate to make the money a large majority of the time, if your image is anything decent i really like this.

Ok thanks guys, just checking. He had AA, of course, which is sort of good b/c it made me analyze the situation a bit further. I really don't NEED those chips given stack distribution as I can just push any two on this guy the next hand. But I agree, I think its a push anyway, albeit a thin one.

that's the kind of thing that makes me think you're going to get called by AT or KQ or something really marginal.

if you had a normal image, i'd like it, but here i think i'd let it go.

I would be tempted to back of this hand for the main reason that it is your BB he is min raising, with your stack he must feel you will at least call here with a top 30/50% hand. As the button is blinding himself away villain does not need to make this move yet and you dont need to get into a confrontation with only J 9
