i honestly meant to bet out on the turn, but my mouse slipped... then i saw the all that action and got a little scared.. am i an idiot?

Hand 2: I'm inclined to call here. The first bet could be just about any two that'd call on the flop because it's weak and is probably just a donkish response to your check; the second is scary, but I just don't see what two cards beat you here and play like this.

I think hand 1 is an easy fold. With about 1400 left in chips with the blinds at 25/50, theres no reason to get involved here with such a weak ace.
