View Full Version : PF AJo call fold 3bet? SB.
I just sit down at the table, post my Big Blind. Next hand I am in the small blind with Ace-Jack offsuit.
CO raises, Button cold calls, what do I do from the small blind? Fold? 3-bet? Just call? No reads/profiling of any of the opponents.
Is this 6 handed? With no reads 3 bet typically (especially if you think the BB is tight enough to fold). Never fold this hand against unknowns.
yes, its 6-handed. Honestly I usually don't think too much preflop, but I don't like this hand against 4 opponents, 1 of whom raised and the other who cold called. I thought there was a good chance that one of them had AK or AQ, and te other had a pocket pair, so I figured I coulda easily been looking for one of 3 jacks. I folded, but felt confused by the whole thing, so posted.

3 bet... they open raise with a lot more than aq ak from the CO
What if the raise came from UTG instead of the cutoff?

3-bet unless you know your opponent has super tight opening standards.

then its close, and probably a fold is okay if both are unknowns.
